It's just cause and effect. effect and frustration. this leads to desperation &eventual seperation.

The past couple of days have been brimming with activity that I can't possibly explain all of it, just provide brief summaries.

I have cancelled my driving test and lessons due to my general tiredness with being abused and told 'I hope you fail' from my instructor, with a good mind to report him to the DVLA. I'm going to take it next year or whenever I can, but obviously not with him because he's a la la loser.

On Monday I handed in my notice at work, so I should be finishing next Friday (September 16th being my last shift before I leave). I can't wait though, the time has arrived to move on...and as one door is closing another one is opening, so to speak.

On Tuesday the 6th, I went to Llandrillo in North Wales to visit my Uncle Dennis and Aunty Avril, as well as my cousin Louise who was over from America with her personal trainer, Gwen, in their new house. It was fantabulous. Llandrillo is a really pretty village in mid-North Wales (Gwynedd) sorrounded by vast green hills and narrow country lanes all bordered off with a river sorrounding the house, so you step out onto the garden and you can hear the water trickling alongside you, which is just lovely. I really wanted to move in there after visiting because it was so pleasant and picturesque, an entire world away from where I live. My cousin showed me all of her holiday photos and the litter of puppies that her dog recently gave birth to. Awh. She also showed me lots of pictures of her house getting built (my cousin lives in San Diego and is a sucessful realtor, head of her own business) so that was all pretty interesting. Then we showed them pictures of us on holiday *cringe* I hated that as in so many pictures I look burnt. Eeep. We had lunch together at the home before driving all the way to Caenarfon to go and have a look around the castle, obviously. I'd never been there before, so it was quite a revelation. The town itself looked like it didn't have much to offer apart from the tourism aspect. But I really loved the archaic beauty of the tower, crumbling yet preserved. The only thing I didn't like was the heights when I climbed up the tower as they were so steep! eep. The other highlight of the trip was stopping off at Swallows Fall to take a look at the pretty rapids flowing downstream and also at this sight seeing spot where you can look over a vast lake, which was absolutely beautiful. No word of a lie, it was one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen, it took my breath away. You wouldn't expect to see something so beautiful in Wales as that, it just seemed so ethereal and heavenly. Then later on we ate out at the Swallows Arms or whatever it was called as I forget the name, but it was something like that. That was nice too, they served very wholesome food. I had a farmhouse vegetable soup and cannelloni with chips and salad, but I couldn't finish it all because there was so much on my platter. It was almost sad to say goodbye to my relatives because I haven't seen them in a while and I really enjoyed their company on this day. I was even given £20 by Avril for 'study aid' :p teehee.

Wednesday was fairly dull in comparison and involved lots of stressfulness and worrying over the decision of a friend to go and do something idiotic which I had tried to speak him out of doing the night before. Worry set in. Panic ensued &later ended in travesty :(
I ordered my shorthand course books in the morning/early afternoon. I tried Amazon but when I discovered that my order wouldn't be arriving for at least another 5 weeks, I quickly withdrew my order and tried the Waterstones website, rang around and finally managed to get three of the books from Preston and one of them from Sheffield. They are the Teeline Gold Course book, Work book, Word Groupings and Word List. Nightmare, but so glad I got them in the end. Three of them arrived on Thursday morning and the Word Groupings one arrived this morning, which I had to sign for.

Yesterday I went to Speke with the parents and bought a laptop. It's really nice, 15" monitor, acer - the student model, but really handy at a bargain price, with all the features of a normal pc, which is always good. I love it, haven't used it much yet though, just registered it and installed the anti-virus software as of yet. You see, I was in work yesterday evening and then I went out to the pub for a little while. I walked back in the dark with my friend Gary which freaked me out as I hate walking down that dark alleyway to get to mine. He stayed over since it was late and then went back to college at 8 in the morning.

I still really need to buy a new bag, since my old one from my college days (Christmas 2003!)is falling to pieces, looks dirty, scratched and has no zippers. Eeep. So yeah, that's another thing that needs to be done. But I've found myself a neat little pink converse bag in the catalogue which I've got my eye on, so hopefully that will more than suffice...even though it looks a bit on the small side.
That's about all I can think of to say for now.

Oh yes, I have four shifts left in work before I leave for good. Wooo.

xo.
