(no subject)
So, it's Friday night. The week is over and another weekend is here. This has been quite a week. Monday was busy, filled with work and meetings. I had my hearing about why I resigned from Union and what was going on in my opinion. Come to find out that, due to who's controlling the final decision of the hearing committee, there is no real point. Oh well, I'm moving on. That's the only thing I can do right now. Tuesday I went to see the History Senior Thesis defenses. I can't believe I'm already a junior. I have to start thinking about what I want to do for my thesis, since I'll be doing my thesis next fall so that I can do my student teaching in the spring. Wednesday night, Lauren and I decided to make dinner in the dorm. The food service on campus had agreed to donate the cost of a meal for each student that didn't go to dinner in the cafeteria that night as a fundraiser for World Hunger. We cooked pasta with sauce, which was a learning experience. We have decided that we don't trust the stove in the lounge on our floor, although the oven works fine.
Last night, Lauren, Leia, and I went to see the Harry Potter movie when it came out at 12:01am in the theatre. It was tons of fun and completely worth it. I was exhausted during the day today, and now can't sleep. But like I said, so worth it. It was a great movie and a great time.
Thanksgiving break is only a few days away. I can't wait!! I'm leaving approx. noon on Tuesday afternoon, so I'll be home around 4pm. I need a break away from campus so badly. I just want to give everyone a big hug and to curl up with Ryley. I miss them all so much. Only a few weeks left to this semester. Actually, one month from today, I'll be finished with my finals!!!!!
