[Why did you even say yes. WHY. At least Thanatos had enough tact to make himself scarce the past few days. ... Though that could've always been out of anger. No helping it now. There's only... what. Three days? Four tops? And one of the demons was more than happy to help pick out a dress for the fashion-inept zombie. Just a simple blue silk one ( Read more... )

Mitsuru isn't exactly sure if it is less gentlemanly to find out where someone lives without their permission, or to turn up there unannounced. In surrender he does both, dressed in the finest suit he could find for the night. It's a little tight about the crotch, but he's been finding that with everything recently...

He knocks on the door politely, delicately arranged flowers (his female skill) in one hand, champagne in the other.

[Jumps a bit at the loud noise, turning towards the source of the noise in an instant. Before the rest of his mind catches up to the train of logic of "door + knocking = someone there". It's just a few long strides to the aforementioned door to open it and-- ......... Stare.]

...

You went all out on this, huh...?

Mitsuru stands in shock for a moment, still unaccustomed to how beautiful the female body actually is. He wonders if men ever gain control of these hormones.

"I could say the same about you." He smiles bravely, offering her the flowers first. "For you."

[The kneejerk reaction is relegated to a bit of shocked sputtering over the random flowers. Just... odd. Very odd. And excessively flattering. To the point where you can almost see the faintest tinge of a blush on his face. And for someone without a pulse, that's saying a lot. Barely under his breath there's a "thank you" and a "look out for the fox" before turning and walking inside to find a vase or some equivalent to keep the flowers alive while they're out. Carrying them to the restaurant itself would do nothing but make him spazz. Come on poker face where did you goooo?]

Mitsuru smiles at the effect of the flowers- he did take a full two hours to arrange them, after all. He enters with the bottle of champagne too, not used to being thrifty enough to even consider taking the bottle to the restaurant.

"A fox?" There's an orange blur in one of the doorways, but Mitsuru decides to be on the safe side an avoid the creature. He doesn't quite like foxes, sly and clever as they are.

Yeah. My associate brought it home...

[Quiet sigh. He has an unhealthy love for fuzzy stuffed animals. But hey, better than him bringing home rabid hyenas or something. Just god help him if its anything more than the fox. And cue handwaving for convenience's sake as TADA GLASS VASE. Glances over his shoulder a bit to speak to while going about depositing the flowers without ruining the arrangement.] After I'm done with this, I'll get my gloves and we can leave.

[Simple arm-length matching ones for the dress. More to hide the barbed wire scars than anything else. At least Mitsuru already knows. Makes it slightly less awkward. Back to messing around for the flowers.] Make yourself comfortable.

Mitsuru is more than shocked by the vase appearing out of no where. Was that already there? Was he losing his mind on Enhancers already? This would be an unfortunate time, while in a mans body and man-turned-womans dorm room, so he does as Orpheus says and takes a seat.

"Your associate must enjoy the company of animals." Shinjiro was the same, he remembers. A stray cat here and a stray flea ridden dog there, though never a fox.

I suspect he just enjoys having company in general. [Which was a rather accurate statement. Of course, there were also a couple of beings he could name off the top of his head that would bring about the opposite reaction. But isn't that the same with anyone? Of course it is.]

Mitsuru does not enjoy the current topic of conversation. Whoever this associate is, he is clearly closer to Orpheus than Mitsuru. As a woman she would not care, but as he is now- strangely- his chest boils with jealousy.

"I do not blame him for enjoying yours." He offers her the champagne, a brand with a name incredibly tough to decipher and high alcohol content- the way all Kirijo's enjoy their drinks.

"Shall we leave? Our reservation is soon."

A-all right. [Can't respond to the first part. Too busy mentally stumbling again and getting his gloves on whilst getting those fleeting female emotions back in order. Alright, lineface back in order. Turns back around and takes the champagne bottle with a nod. Looking at the bottle and, thanks to maxed knowledge, knows what is and how expensive that comes up on the tab for those not gifted with a bottomless wallet. Cue more stumbling.] Ah... should we bring this with us o-or... [Or use it buy a small third-world country. Srsly Mansuru holy damn D:]

Mitsuru grins- it's always nice to meet someone of the opposite sex with the knowledge befitting admiration. His chest swells a little from her almost-compliment, though he should be used to it by now. However, if he wanted to bring the champagne with them, he wouldn't have given it to the woman to carry. That was just plain manners.

"No, it's yours. If you'd like, we could share it after dinner." He smiles, but he doesn't leave his seat. If Orpheus is going to be a woman, he should at least enjoy the compliments of it.

... That would be nice. [A slight smile before turning around and resting the bottle on the desk near the vase, seemingly pulling a pen and a small card from thin air to scribble a note for the other two residents, probably along the lines of NO TOUCHING, BONEHEADS. Then turning back around and another nod as the nonverbal statement of "ready to leave". It's hard to train oneself out of the instinct to be the one who leads.]

Mitsuru holds the door open for Orpheus on their way out, making sure the fox doesn't follow them. The car outside is an old English taxi, dark and only slightly misused. It isn't to Mitsuru's usual standards, but he hardly has a choice.

"I found it when I got lost a few days ago. It has enough fuel for tonight and not much else. Please bare with it." He holds the door open.

And here I was expecting to walk. [Heh. But before getting in he hesitates, staring over his shoulder into the distance in a silent threat. Then sits down in the car with a sigh. Watch, the one time I'm not around, the stupid fog's gonna act up. B| ]

"And callous your feet? I could never." Mitsuru notices the fog with a frown. As if driving in a world without roads isn't hard enough, now he can barely see three feet in front of them. The radio plays music from a language he's never heard before and is plagued by static- it isn't very romantic.

I could just take off the heels.

[He doesn't seem to mind. Too busy staring out the window into that bleak fog. A sign, anything, of that thing which causes it. 'Cause if it's bad enough to the point where even he's getting a headache, then man must it suck to be the one driving Mansuru D: Watch, you're gonna end up running over a shadow or something.]
