[This video is quite accidental-- Digger has no idea what’s going on. Someone tall and frightening gave him this thing! He hit some buttons! And it made these noises! And he's staring at it but oh god what is this WHAT IS EVERYTHING.]
Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Oh no. My wings! I’ve lost my wings. And my beak. A-and my talons! And my feathers! This is terrible-- terrible--! And-- oh, Twilight, Soren, Ezylryb, anyone, where are you, what do I do--?
[He's squinting against the afternoon light as though it bothers him and the video is shaky, but the look of pure terror on this child's face is clear enough.]
[Suddenly something somewhere behind him, not immediately visible, catches his attention. His turnaround is so violent it’s audible - he’s not used to having to bring his whole body with him when he turns his head.]
Eh? What’s that?
[Whatever it was doesn't seem to present a problem, because he turns back to the device and pokes at it feverishly a moment longer. Whether he's talking to himself or to the device is not immediately discernible.]
I--I’ve lost my hollow-- actually I’ve lost my whole tree and I’m not myself, you see-- please, if you could find it in your gizzard to help me--!
[There is another sound from behind him and he whirls completely around again, this time taking the Pokegear with him. It comes into shaky focus (honestly! you'd think he'd never had hands before!) on a small, furry brown head, looking up at him intently from the dirt.]
[There is a pause, and then a small voice says, quite distinctly,] Diglett!
Oh. Oh my.
H-help.
