I once had those worldly passions. Today I still enjoy watching the act since I cannot partake in it myself. But, I enjoy the intrigues of life.

Companionship most of all. Having the emptiness that collects melt away when someone I love is nearby...

I do agree with you the merits of companionship. Loneliness is a potent curse.
