After trying out the AC6 demo on my Xbox360 on my PC monitor through my TV tuner card, I realized that it sucked. The graphics, I mean. On my monitor, I mean. Through the tuner card, I mean. I couldn't see the target text and distance info very well. I'm not taking full advantage of the console graphics on my 2nd hand tuner card and my 2nd hand CRT monitor.
I decided to look for a way to get better graphics. Either buy a HDTV, which is too expensive, or buy an LCD monitor and hook my console directly to it. Yeah, that seems more reasonable. MS sells a VGA cable for the Xbox360 that I can hook to my current monitor, but switching between PC-out and console-out is hard and hot-swapping is probably not possible without a VGA switch. LCD monitor is still better if it had DVI and VGA inputs so that PC-out goes to DVI and Xbox360-out goes to VGA.
Newegg has LCD monitors. I did some research. And I think that, even though I'm gonna spend money again, it'll be worth it since a monitor is something that I will *definitely* use. Every day, in fact. Unlike a music keyboard or a bicycle or even a TV (I don't watch much TV these days). ^^;;
