The Emmys: I feel compelled to post my thoughts

Why do I feel that my taste in television is so far superior to others?

WHY? BECAUSE I ACTUALLY WATCH ALL THE EPISODES of a given show before I make a statement like, ‘Parks and Recreation is much better than Modern Family,’ unlike the majority of Academy voters who CLEARLY have watched no more than 4 episodes of Modern Family’s last season.    Modern Family, while it had a few gems, had a season that, as a whole, fell flat-mired with predictable plots, gimmicky characters, and reused gags.  Parks and Recreation had a perfect season. Yes, perfect like Arrested Development perfect.

At the end of the day, every episode of Parks and Rec has more heart, humor, and  comedic brilliance than any episode of Modern Family largely because it has characters you deeply care about, characters you carry with you.

Next year, friends.  We shall claim our much deserved victory.

And don’t even get me started on Nick Offerman’s Emmy snub.
