Nyota wondered if what she’d heard could possibly be one of the Lost Colonies. Wouldn’t it be amazing if she managed to do that. She’d always been morbidly fascinated with the lost colonies. Where had they wound up? Did they die off? If what she found was correct, she’d found one of them... But this wasn’t quite a matter for the Enterprise. She’d have to report to her other superiors. The ones that Jim didn’t know about. Helped she was head of communications. She could insert her private messages without anyone commenting about the oddness of them, encrypted properly and everything. It shouldn’t take long to hear back from them. She’d find out what they wanted her to do about it. In the meantime she was going to reread the accounts of the Lost Colony ships and daydream.
