Oi. What's easy to make for dinner, besides sandwiches and microwave dinners?

[Let's face it - Shikamaru can cook for himself if need be, but Chouji's the food lover. Unfortunately there comes a point where one gets bored of the dishes they know how to make - particularly when those dishes are sandwiches and instant food.

Depends on how fast you want your meal. Porkchops are easy. Just stick it in the oven and take it back out after it's cooked.

Under an hour, preferrably. [Or thirty minutes. He has more talent for it than some people, he just doesn't see the point in taking five hours to make something you can eat in five minutes. Porkchops, though. Those could last.

Nope. Just season to taste, maybe throw in a few vegetables if you want, and make sure they don't overcook. [Hey, there's nothing wrong with hours of preparation for that little bit of extra flavor. You newb.]

[He's dined in the restaurant often enough to at least know that the food its owner makes is good.]

[And as promised, Sanji comes out of the kitchen carrying a few sheets of folded paper bundled together with string]

Yo. [Glancing at the shogi board, and immediately remembering that hot stud Law] Gonna play with lightning later?

Huh? [It takes him a second to piece together what had likely happened - Law was, of course, the other person who helped come up with this plan. He grins, carefully setting the set down and out of the way.] Aa. Eventually, yeah. That's the plan.

[More importantly, if Sanji's seen Law around playing shogi, that means his competition has been practicing. 8|a]

[She only took a guess, really - Law hadn't mentioned Shikamaru's name, not that she remembers, and so grins a little at the answer] I'm still impressed you guys got him to settle down long enough for a game.

I only got to play him for the first time today. He actually made for a good opponent, though it was easier to keep his attention once he started winning. [Just as planned.]
