A couple things need to be redefined for my life to make any sense right now.
Closure. Friend. Right. Serious.
Closure is kind of easy. I'm coming to understand it as a making sense of the past, regardless of present circumstances. The others a bit more tricky. Morally grey.
Of course, this is from my own biased viewpoint. I know many others who would disagree.
In other news the semester has officially started (finally). My International Politics class is filled with testosterone, but Prof. Flemming is very much on as usual. Monday is the beginning of German and Contemporary American Lit., one of which I'm excited for (hint: it has little to do with David Hasselhoff). In all honesty I don't mind the idea of being trapped on campus all day Mondays and Wednesdays. Hopefully I'll be able to get work done because lord knows I'll have a lot of it. And The Changing of America: 1945 to Present starts Tuesday with Weintz which is, of course, the highlight of my semester. Really, Weintz and Flemming are two reasons I'm actually grateful for these past two years at MCC as they and their classes have really helped shape me academically.
Now I just have the rest of the weekend to fill up before getting fully back into the swing of things. Let it begin.
I'm in love with my own sins...
