(no subject)
I just got back from Parker Brothers. I swear, I hate this job more and more every day.
Today was awful. We're steadily progressing in the script of Ebony's Castle now. Things started off smoothly this morning, and I thought that the job would finally get better... but I was wrong. After we were through with the scene where Princess Shikwanda (me) had a rhyming contest with the maid, I was informed that we were going to work on a part where I'd have to do some singing. I thought it would be a piece of cake; after all I do have a decent voice. After we all took our breaks we got to work. Well, it turns out that the singing I was going to have to do was opera-style singing. I thought that it wouldn't be too hard, but boy, was I wrong! Not only was the singing portion HUGE, but I had to sing it opera style and successfully hold the notes for a while. I gave it my best shot... I tried, I really did. After several attempts the producers decided they'd try the singing portion again tomorrow. The punk-ass kid who plays Sir Odack told me that my singing voice reminds him of a putrid pair of dirty gym socks. That made me so mad I felt like punching him in the jaw... but I decided to just shrug it off. I did, however, get away with calling him a "nasty, rotten piece of expired mutated white chocolate that smells like a sewer on a hot and humid day"...
So much for work. I hope tomorrow is better.
Last night, Simon and I made up. We had a really good chat. We discussed a lot of things and worked them all out to our satisfaction, so we're both on good terms again. :) He's such a nice guy. And he got me a new car! It's a deep space metallic blue (with silver) colored Suzuki Esteem Wagon!
Also, I have some big news.... As you all know, I'm having a baby... BUT... I'm having not only one... but...
...TWO BABIES!
Yes, you heard me correctly! I'm having TWINS!! I found out last night after the doctor called Simon and told him! Now I'll have two little bundles of joy! Which means twice as hard to come up with names... Now I must come up with two boy names and two girl names (just in case I get two boys or two girls).. and if I have a boy and a girl we'll have two names each to choose from when we name them.
So far for girls names, I have Jazmin... I need one more.
And as for boys names... none. Although I do like Devon a lot... I dunno.
If anyone has ideas, please post them!
Ryan Seacrest's hot tub party last night was a blast. It was so much fun! Paula and Simon were there, along with Tamyra (for a bit), Alexis, Nikki (NIKKI!!!) and of course some other people too. I almost accidently drowned Ryan though in the "see who can hold their breath the longest" game. hahaha, sorry again, Ryan. ;) Ryan disappeared for a bit, saying he was going to get snacks... he was gone forever! And I was craving those snacks... he finally came back (with the snacks) though, so I was a happy Tamika again.
I wonder who will be leaving tonight? It'll be so sad to see any of them go. They're all American Idol material. :) Love you all!
Well, I'm going out with Simon to go shopping for baby things pretty soon, so I'll post this now. Bye bye!
