As I'm sure my wife would back me up on this, I have the following advice:
Treat your college relationships like cheap toilet paper. Sure you're there, and it's not like you're going to be able to use something else, but it's not what you want for the rest of your life. Soon, you'll be able to afford the three-ply cushiony softness and the cheap, splintery stuff will be a thing of the past. The bulk stuff is just crap. And what's with the bad knock-off mascots the cheap stuff uses? Really, is it that hard to find an affordable artist? Or is the fifth grader all the TP budget allows for? C'mon, get creative! There's a reason everyone liked Mr. Whimple. And in the future, you won't have to get the stuff on the huge roll, either.
...I think I lost the metaphor somewhere along the line, but you've got the idea. Maybe.
I'm doing very well, thanks. 25 days! That's really exciting :) Have you two thought up a name yet? And how's Savannah? Give my regards to the Mrs. and congratulations to both of you. I trust both of you are still in theatre?
Let's see... btw this is Mrs. R, we share the lj. Anywho... nope, no name yet (I think she actually will be named "baby sister," that's what Savannah calls her and we can't agree on anything else). Savannah is doing really well, she turned 3 yesterday and she's very bright and awfully cute if I do say so myself. As for theatre, nope we aren't involved at all. Mr. R works really hard to support me staying home and eating bon-bons all day. :P Okay, so maybe I don't just eat bon-bons... actually I can't think of the last time I ever saw a bon-bon, but mostly I stay home and play with Savannah and he occasionally comes home from work for a few hours before sleeping. Every once in a while we get out to see a show though.
