those scheming seamstresses
no one wants to hear a 5' 3" 106 pound girl complain about losing two pounds, but i'm gonna have to whine a bit regardless. somehow i weigh 104 and i can only surmise the weight came off my waist because the bottoms i dropped $200+ to have taken in are now loose on me. again.
i am especially saddened over a really darling high-waisted skirt that now is back to sitting on my low waist. it's really not ideal for tucking in a blouse.
i have to get a few more items taken in, so i'll let this skirt tag along. it was a difficult job for the folks at the local alteration shop and i'm sure they won't be happy that they have to wrestle with this thing one more time.
i wish i had the confidence to do my own tailoring with the sewing machine that is more a decorative piece nowadays than it is functional. i'm terrorfied of ruining something though.
