spent last weekend in orlando of all places. but i've got to catch up on this back log of photos before i go into that mini holiday fun day. back in september adam and i took a rather spur of the moment trip to beafort, sc. it's only two hours or so away with the drive being fairly simple enough and enjoyable, though seeing that goddamned SCAD equestrian center raises bile into my throat.
as soon as we rolled our way into the historic district i spotted a sweets place, the chocolate tree. loved these menacing bat lolipops. they're so enraged!
this tree looks straight out of a horror movie about witches
i liked these carnical ride toys someone's shop was selling
i liked beaufort's area along the river a lot more than savannah's river street. it was calm, peaceful and had swings in lieu of benches.
adam joins the locals and naps in public. seriously it was like a local past time for the old folks around here.
we visited neighboring islands
i spy crabby!
this beach at hunting island gets very interesting towards one end. it's quite beautiful in an odd way.
adam kept trying to kick sea foam at me because i was scared of it at first
why this beach was an interesting destination. dead trees and drift wood litter one end of the beach
