So, last week I received my first ever bonus check. I'm pretty proud of this! I had brought up possible future raises with my boss the week before, and I wasn't super encouraged that anything would come of it. Very happy and thankful something did! In celebration, I spent some of it on a couple of frivolous things I had been wanting, such as this Life Aquatic ring:

On that subject, I think it's time I invest in a new jewelry box too. My older one is getting a bit full, and it's impossible to grab earrings out of it when I'm in a hurry.
