twin peaks art show
Went to L.A. to check out the Twin Peaks 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition today. For…fun? I’m not a big Lynch fan. (Proof: I’m half way through Twin Peaks and I still don’t know or care what all the characters names are. While the plot is interesting I don’t really care about that either. Laura Palmer, blah blah, drugs, blah blah, under-age prostitutes, blah blah, sleaze.) What I DO love about the show is the visuals and weirdness and mind-trips. The things that I enjoy about the series are very inspiring, so I really wanted to see the exhibition.
Note: this was hosted at possibly the coolest cafeteria I have ever been too. I bought an almond cookie as I was leaving.

I think my favorite piece was Brooke Weston’s mixed media taxidermy. It’s like a Christmas diorama ornament! But it’s made out of a deer’s head.
