Summary’s up for SE 76! I don’t know what to make of you chapter 76, but then that’s a pretty typical reaction of mine when it comes to this series?

Did you just turn Giricco into a woman, and then give a totally random explanation as to why he’s suddenly a woman?

Well, at least Maka’s back to normal, and Soul’s back in his pinstripe suit (yes please). Go OTP, GO!

Also. Giricco reminding Maka that BODIES DON’T EXPLODE cracked me up something fierce.
I’m all, "Wait, YES THEY DO. This is SOUL EATER. THE MANGA IN WHICH EVERYTHING EXPLODES?" I could give a plenty instances in the series when random enemies explode for no logical, science based reason. THIS IS SHOUNEN. LOGIC BE DAMNED.
I’m not terribly pleased that Black*Star is the only one that can fight Kid :/. Since the fight still hasn’t started yet, I have little to say about it though. The page where Black*Star falls by Kid, who's just blankly staring at nothing, is hilarious though? Kid, you look like such a doof, ahaha. But I love his expression in the last panel of the chapter. That’s more like it Kid :D! If you’re going to be eviiil and all, you gotta look the part.
All in all? Not much going on in this chapter besides Giricco’s sex-change development. Maka and Soul are now BOTH hurt, and the Black*Star vs. Kid fight has yet to start up.
Hopefully, Maka and Soul will finish up soon, and Black*Star gets around to knocking the snot out of Kid.
I’m still holding out hope that Kid will be saved by Patti pistol whipping him with Liz, though.
