I too was going ”oh hai, Cardcaptor Sakura!” due to how Soul’s flying mode form looks very much similar to Sakura’s, uh, magical-girl-clow-card-collecting…thing (that and, coincidentally, she also uses it for flight and the thing sprouts wings). Here, Maka’s giving the CSS manga to Soul as a reference on how he should look damnit. LOL FOREVER <3.
