mostly SE39 stuff
I'm ignoring the lj drama right now. So not in the mood after getting lost for over an hour coming home. There should not be a major bumper to bumper traffic jam every freaking evening.
Instead I shall happily discuss episode 39 of Soul Eater, and by discuss I mean babble like an idiot.
CRONA'S NOT GETTING KIDNAPPED/LOST/WE DON'T EVEN KNOW IN THE MANGA YET. YAY!! I THINK. I can't tell as I've only watched the raw. I hope he stays. Seeing as how Maka is so super protective of him, I don't see Crona going anywhere at this point.
I can see where Bones is going now though with the plot and I'm pretty pleased. They may be able to wrap the series up properly in 12 episodes? I hope so Q__Q.
This means they'll get to all the side characters (yay!), but may not get to Soul's back story as it hasn't even been fully gone into in the manga (boo!). I hope I'm mistaken on that one - I want to see waaay more of Soul's family life.
Oh good Lord above Asura scares the hell out of me. I DONT, I REPEAT, DONT want Maka and Soul to fight that thing, omg. I say Maka and Soul and not Kid/Patti/Liz or B*S/Tsubaki because they're the main characters (Soul's kind of the namesake too?). By anime law they have to fight the bad guy by themselves in the final round.
Nooooo. They can't even figure out how to trigger the demon hunter again? Uggh, please don't kill them Bones. Or, anyone. Kill no one please.
Also: HAHAHAA. I love how after Asura and Archne's SCARY AS HELL fight/alliance talk we switch to CUTE PICNIC MODE. WHAT.
Crona and Maka then have what sounds like a talk about, uh, their moms. I think. I so need a translation. Maka's mother is like this ELUSIVE BEING that everyone thinks is awesome and we STILL haven't seen her yet. I DEMAND TO SEE MAKA'S MOM BONES.
(I'd also love for her to drop in and kick her ex-husband's ass just because the entertainment factor would be killer. That aside, for some odd reason I like Spirit despite the fact that I'm perfectly aware he is an adulterous man-slut? How'd that happen?)
Um, OH! I had a MAJOR otp squeal moment near the end of the episode? When Maka's looking for Crona and Soul just pops out of nowhere to give her ride. SO EFFING CUTE. He is crushing so hard hahaha.
Then their was some fun motorcycle driving in the Nevada desert:
Soon followed my near punches and hugs :)). (Maka sort of..scared me here? Her voice got all low and it was really intimidating! Her voice actress has grown on me a lot.)
Soon followed by Soul making a comment about a situation be A) COOL B) NOT COOL. Soul is a complete dork and his constant uttering of random Engrish will never cease to crack me up.
Anway. Poor BJ :/. He lasted like, 2 chapters in the manga, poor guy. I think he only has an episode or two to go now? They're totally dragging out his little side plot.
Things are going to start getting interesting now that Bones is going into anime only territory now. Not full blown, but still, anime only territory.
