Oh man. I’ve actually done some Halloween type things this year! Yes! Last night I went to California Adventure, for the Disney Trick or Treat parties they’ve been doing, with Lisa and some of her friends/friends of friends.
So awesome. Lisa went as Tinker Bell, her friend Traci went as Snow White, and Traci’s friend went as one of the Tinker Bell fairies, though I can’t recall which one. I went as: MYSELF. Yeahhh! No job = no funds for costume on top of ticket. I wore black, stuck one of my skull bows in my hair, and painted my nails black. (Lisa and Blake: “Oh, I get it, you’re a goth” Me: “NOOO D:!”) Also, I’m discovering I just don’t have a cosplayer personality. I don’t like to draw attention to myself, or go looking for it. I like to look nice and be myself.
Yet for some weird reason I freaking love Halloween. I am weird.
Anyway. Back to cosplay stuff. Both Traci and her buddy are big into cosplay (anime/Disney/what have you) and Traci even works for a company who does kids parties with Disney Princess’ as the main theme. Thus, the Snow White costume. She was so convincing, in fact, that she was attracting crowds of people who wanted pictures with their children. This actually irritated some of the actual park employee princess’ apparently? I missed the drama because I was too busy having fun by myself on Tower of Terror. SO MUCH FUN, EFF THE DRAMA.
The last ride we went on the new(ish) Toy Story ride - which is kind of like a shooter game but…not. Very kid friendly but fun for everyone. I actually managed the highest score out of the four of us :D (100,100?).
It was amazing guys. I loved it so much. They were even giving away candy. Totally worth the ticket price. When I get a job one of the first things on my list beyond saving and paying bills is totally going to be a Disneyland year round pass.
Photos!
