We're a year old today!
Holy crap, we've reached a year!
On August 1, 2008, I decided to take my Claire Bennet journal that I made on a whim a lot earlier and actually start playing her on livejournal. At first I wasn't really sure that I would go anywhere with her but then she started to gain a voice in my head. When she started to make some friends and storylines started to fall into place for her, she became very active. Near the beginning she was asked to join the Choices!verse where I've met some of the best roleplayers I have ever known. The group has definitely been a great source of enjoyment and friendship for me as well.
There has also been a lot of good people and roleplayers outside of the Choices!verse that I've played with over the year; people who have pushed me to become a better writer and roleplayer. Some of them have also turned into friends over time. I've met them at the different prompt and roleplaying communities I've been a part of over time. Claire has had or still has many verses she is a part of, all of which let me explore her in a canon or most definitely in an AU fashion. I've really loved a lot of the stories I've involved her in, some of which have allowed me to write some funny or definitely angsty story line arcs with her.
Basically, the last year has been a blast for me while I've played my girl.
So thank you to all the great roleplayers I've been playing with over the year. Claire is definitely a lot of fun because of you and I wouldn't have made it this long without you guys. Thank you to the mods of the prompt communities for having awesome prompts which have allowed me to play my girl.
Thank you to the mods and the players in her roleplaying communities. beyondtherift, dontrightly_die, recreating_eden, tenebrae_nostro and thepathwechoose. You guys are awesome and it's been fun so far, and I'm looking forward to the year to come. Also thank you to the communities that are no longer going, it was fun while it lasted.
I wish I could say thank you to every single person I've roleplayed with but gawd, that would take a very long time. I adore you all and thank you for roleplaying with us over the year.
To the Choices!verse people, you guys were my first. ;P (Don't that sound dirty?) Thank you for taking me in and for giving me Claire's longest running verse, as well as giving us other fun verses to take part in. <3333 Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou.
