She had warned him that she was going to come over and "get him".  He had said that he was going to watch his back but she had a feeling that he wasn't really expecting her to come over to actually look for the books even though they made a wager.  So after she was done work at the store, she waved goodbye to her coworkers and the guys who usually ( Read more... )

Gabriel snorted with laughter, making sure that it was purposefully loud, though it was soon followed by a proper laugh as he realised how stupid he sounded. However, he was amused by the whole of it. of course, she would have to not find the books if she wanted to give him a back rub, or well, he would gladly accept a back rub whenever she wanted to give him one, but if she was going to give it to him based on the fact that she lost the bet, she would have to not find the books.

Now at this point the devil on Gabriel's shoulder was wishing that Claire had worn something that would show off her cleavage as she bent over, while the angel on the other was thankful that she hadn't, because it didn't want him to stare at her boobs. Gabriel himself was torn between the options, because though he would have liked to have a view, he was still shy and awkward and if he got caught staring he would probably die due to the fact that all the blood had rushed to colour the blush of his face and he wouldn't have any blood left for everywhere else.

He inhaled and then sighed softly, the scent of her shampoo and perfume making him crinkle his nose, though in the way that was cute, not in disgust, and he licked over his lips, because he wasn't sure that they have ever been so close before. "Ah right, I know that game," he nodded, he could definitely play that, though as he didn't quite define how the game worked, he didn't say anything.

He tensed slightly when he felt her lips on his cheek, so close to where he truly wanted them, where they would make him turn to goo, and he pressed his lips together. However, when she leaned back he just looked at her, eyebrow again raised. "As to how to make me turn to goo?" he asked, smirking a bit. "Or to where the books are? You weren't really clear on the rules Claire."

She knew that she couldn't find the books but she did have to put up a proper fight because she didn't want to seem like she was giving up too easily. As he laughed, she smiled warmly at him as she liked the sound of his laugh. it was deep and almost like velvet on her ears, plus she liked him relaxed and enjoying himself. It was better than seeing him worried because he always seemed like he had something on his mind.

As she leaned over, she watched his face quickly as he seemed torn about something and once again she was slightly nervous as she didn't want to seem like she was crossing a line. She felt strange, almost giddy as she got closer to him, like her senses were over-aware of him now. She swallowed a little as she watched him lick his lips and she had the strongest urge to follow the same path with her own tongue.

So it was a struggle to focus as she brushed her lips to his cheek before leaning back, catching the smirk with a husky sounding chuckle. "Maybe both?" She offered, lifting her brows in an almost innocent fashion. "I'm taking it that didn't turn you to goo though." She tilted her head a bit, a curl sliding across her cheek before she caught it to push it back.

She seemed to think hard for a minute before she brought a hand up, her fingers brushing slowly along his jaw as she felt the slight roughness of his facial hair. "Does this work better?" She asked before leaning down and this time she touched her mouth to his. A little press of her lips molding to his as she allowed herself a small taste, more tingles rushing over her system as she almost shivered.
