"Hey hyung," he starts, "Go out on a date with me?" Junhong doesn't mean to make it come out like a question. He's trying not to show his nerves, very carefully controlling the time between each of his blinks.
JUNHONG CANNOT GET ANY CUTER, I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING. how he means to be direct but the whole thing comes out as a question, and the blinking, gosh he is the cutest thing, i want a miniature clone of your zelo in my pocket to carry around with me everywhere i go.

"Ok. Yeah," Daehyun says without any pause, beaming up at Junhong. Junhong stares back, a slow smiling creeping over his own face.

They finally get done with practice early one night and Daehyun slips his arm around Junhong's waist.
another point that you hit spot-on for me ;; daehyun always seems so casual and cool with everything, and i think that's something that makes junhong (and the other bap members) really comfortable around him. i don't think i've ever seen daehyun be awkward (other than his silence in ta-dah! it's bap, which was just terrible script-writing), so i love how he just sort of breezes through the situation -- so much so that junhong doesn't even know if he's been too casual.

Junhong has to stop himself from reaching out when Daehyun pulls away to go do just that.

Daehyun slips his hand into Junhong's, intertwining their fingers. Junhong's whole face feels warm.

He brings his free hand up to Junhong's cheek, cups it gently. Time seems to slow to a crawl for Junhong and he blinks rapidly.

Daehyun leans closer and Junhong's eyes go wide. But their noses bump instead. Daehyun pulls back a bit, his eyes not meeting Junhong.

"Sorry, you make me nervous," Daehyun mumbles. Junhong almost wants to laugh because he's the one just standing there blinking like an idiot, unable to get anything to function properly.

Daehyun pulls back and Junhong can't help following him. He brushes his lips against Daehyun's, smiling into the kiss.

i have cried myself dry :( junhong :( daehyun :( you :( everything is so wonderful that it almost hurts, but in a good kind of way, the way that makes my chest squeeze just the right amount around my heart that is too happy because of all of this

i don't deserve any of this, really, esp. with how horribly late some of my replies are (there's one twitlonger that i still haven't replied to, that you sent me almost over 2 weeks ago?? i have the tab open and it stares sadly at me every day ;;), but i am so so so lucky that you still like me as much as i like you, you are too wonderful and beautiful and gorgeous and everything, sighs.

JUNHONG IN REAL LIFE IS SO CUTE THAT ITS EASY TO WRITE HIM AS CUTE. we both adore his habit of blinking too fast when nervous ahhh baby ;w; cries sobs i wish that was possible? to have a pocket zelo omg

yesss hes the perfect middle child tbh. yeah i cant think of him being awkward either which says a lot about his personality since he had the least time w/ the rest of bap. (at least ta-dah was better than yamo ok. but can we just take a sec to appreciate how hard it was for yongguk to stay in character bc i swear every 5 seconds hed be on the verge of a huge grin, mostly bc of all the dumb things himchan said/did omg)
