I wrote this a seoulfulness wo months ago. And Simone's feeling shitty, so this is for her, too. I just... love you, okay? I love you so much.
"Hyung? Hyung!" Dongwoon taps Doojoon's shoulder furiously, fingers insistently digging into the leader. Doojoon ignores him for a second, but regrets it when Dongwoon starts to clap his shoulder roughly for attention. The day's almost at an end-just one more performance to go, and they can go home. The group is tired, Doojoon notices. However, the exhaustion doesn't stop Dongwoon from looking for attention.
Doojoon turns to Dongwoon, and sighs heavily at the maknae. Dongwoon almost looks guilty for a second, but the look passes, and the guilt is replaced with desperation. "What's-" Doojoon is cut off.
"One minute!" someone shouts, and Doojoon nods in anticipation for yet another (hopefully) flawless performance. They've yet to sing Beautiful Night, but have already streamed through their hit songs. He's ready for the last song. He's ready for the sleep that comes after it, even though it's in the van, because the venue is further away than expected and the ride's expected to be a couple of hours.
"Hyung! Doojoon hyung!" Dongwoo whines his time, needy.
"What is it, maknae?" Doojoon mumbles, eyes running through the rest of the members. They're sweaty from the previous performances, but they seem ready to go.
"Yah, Doojoonie hyung! I need t peeeeeeeee."
Doojoon finally turns to him, "You-what? Wh now? told you go to hours ago!"
"I didn't need to, then," Dongwoon whines again, and it's getting a little pathetic.
"Fifteen seconds!"
Doojoon huffs, "NO." Then, he shoves Dongwoon onto the stage, and almost almost egrets it when the boy almost falls. He doesn't though, just tips for a second, but he glares at Doojoon nevertheless.
The music starts, and after a few curious glances towards the two, Kikwang starts to sing the first verses of Beautiful Night.The crowd roars, girls shrieking and banners waving, and Doojoon grins-but not for that reason. Dongwoon's in position, dancing, but his face is pulled into a grimace-halfway between a smile and a frown, and he just looks horrible. It's even worse than the weird faces he pulls for the camera's at photoshoots! The crowd doesn't notice, because Dongwoon isn't usually a point of interest for most of them, but Doojoon does and it' hilarious.
Dongwoon almost stumbles once throughout the coreography, but only Doojoon and Yoseob notice. Yoseob sends him a sincere, sweet smile, and Doojoon just plain ou laughs n the middle of the performce. Junhyung looks back towards him for a second, and looses the beat if only for a moment.
When Hyunseung finally sings the last verses, and the music ends, Dongwoon looks frantically back and forth between the members. Doojoon grins brightly before mouthin go, and Dongwoon rushes off the stage to the bathroom.
