Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July!! I know it's late but I didn't post anything yesterday. So yesterday after everyone came over to eat lunch at my house, my parents went to the lake house with my step-sister, Shara, and her family (her in-laws have the lake house), but me and Em couldn't go because we had summer school...yes and oh what fun I'm having at summer school right now, the very place I'm sitting at the moment, my eye lids drooping and my head nodding from boredom...so we spent the night with Kallyn (one of our best friends in Dallas) last night so she could take us to school (luckily for her, her mom volunteered to take us so Kallyn could sleep in - I felt so bad asking them to do that for us but I had to). But yesterday we had a lot of fun because Kallyn's dad has a membership to a country club, the DAC (Dallas Athletic Club), and we went swimming and got free cotton candy and stuff. We got third place in the raft races!!! haha and then a hot guy made fun of me for getting excited about the prizes :( but wouldn't you?! I was surprised at how many cute guys I saw there, and I was a bit disappointed too because my swimsuit isn't exactly the most flattering outfit in my wardrobe :/ Going to the pool always motivates me to start working out more lol. After dark they had an awesome fireworks show - we laid out on the golf course to watch it, it was fun. I got blueberry pie all over my shirt though lol but I think that was the best pie I've ever eaten, so I didn't mind so much - it was sooo GOOD!! lol
Well I must be going because we are about to start our next assignment...yay :/
