Umi-san has been sad of late... and so many others. Fujimoto-san even got injured.

Don't count on that. They're mean and can only cause trouble. I doubt bringing yourself into their attention's a good idea.

I wouldn't if it was the very last choice I had! But I've seen how trading with them always backfires on everyone...

If I talk to them, they might be reasonable. It could help everyone to feel much better and more comfortable.

That's the thing exactly. I doubt they'd want people to feel any way other than miserable...

I can't understand why someone would want another person to feel upset or unhappy, though...

Well, according to those who study the Clock, this place happens to be fueled by negative emotions.

Sometimes the curses make people happy though too, right? Like playing water tag and other games...

That's because they're harmless. Most people just find them annoying. But that doesn't mean they happen because the deities want us to have a good time. They're still CURSES.

But if there is a way to stop the curses, than maybe everyone will be a little bit more happy, or others won't have to be sewn together again...

Is that why you want to talk to the deities? To see if they can stop these things from happening?

I think that everyone is in a lot of pain from the curses. Every day it seems there are lots of sad people on the network, who express that they don't like them...or that they really dislike this place.

Seeing all of them, I really want to do something to help. Even if we can't be sent home without a price...if no one worried about curses any longer, than I think everyone would begin to feel a lot better inside.

That may be true. But even if there was a way to stop them in exchange for some sacrifice, it wouldn't be fair for you to take that on your shoulders for everybody.
