Rock and Roll baby... grRrRr
Concerts I have attended or will be attending this summer:
*Foo Fighters accoustic set at MTV2 studios in NYC... already went last weekend. It was only 30 people in the whole audience and I talked to Dave Grohl. Need I say more??
*Taking Back Sunday opening up for Weezer on Wednesday, July 13th at Nassau Colluseum, NY.
*Ben Folds at Atlantic City, NJ, August 7th.
*Warped Tour at Randall's Island, NY Saturday, August 13th.
Potential shows:
*Collective Soul at Neptune's Beach Club, East Quogue, NY. BUT it's 21+... I need a good fake!! AND I'll have to find someone else who is either 21 or has a good fake.
*Finch- Albany, NY, August 14th.
And now for shows I WISH I were going to:
*System of a Down :-( by the time they leave FL I'll still be in NJ, and by the time they get to NJ I'll be back in FL. Just my luck.
*Lollapalooza- It's in Chicago. No way I'm flying there or driving 11 hours to get there. Even with awesome bands such as Dashboard, Death Cab, Weezer, The Killers, Billy Idol (!!!), Primus, Pixies, and CAKE playing. Very upset. WHY CHICAGO?!
*Coldplay- Tweeter Center, NJ. I would go if I could take off another day of work.
*Jimmy Eat World and Green Day- same day as Warped Tour and it's all the way in Buffalo, NY. All their shows closer to home are in September, so I'll be in FL.
