Firstly,

AHHHHHHHHHHHH I WATCHED THE MATRIX RELOADED

I TOTALLY WENT INTO IT THINKING "AW MAN THIS WILL NOT BE AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE BECAUSE EVERYONE EITHER HATES THE SECOND OR JUST SAYS IT ISN'T AS GOOD /SADFAIS"

BUT OMG

I LOVED IT SO MUCH IT WAS SO GOOD AND THE FIIIIIGHT SCEEEEEEENES OMG THEY WERE SO BEAUTIFUL

ALL THE FIGHT SCENES

SO MANY FIGHT SCENES

LKDSJFKSJDFS I WAS JUST SITTING THERE SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT THROUGH ALL OF THE FIGHT SCENES BECAUSE OMG

SO FRIGGIN' AWESOME

WHEN NEO WAS FIGHTING ALL THE SMITHS OKAY SERIOUSLY, THAT WAS LIKE TEN MINUTES LONG SKDJFKLSDFS

AND THE ONE WHERE THEY WERE FIGHTING WITH ALL THE WEAPONS AND THINGS

AND AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG MORPHEUS FIGHTING ON THE TRUCK WITH A KATANAAAAAA

I ALREADY LIKED HIM IN THE FIRST MOVIE BUT HE JUST GAINED LIKE +3,000 RESPECT

SO AWESOME IDEK

/BREATHES

And fffffffffffff dude. DUDE, Resident Evil: Afterlife TOTALLY ripped off that scene of Trinity fighting the Agent in that skyscraper! >( The whole shooting with double guns/turns and jumps out window backwards as slow-mo starts scene -- Afterlife totally stole it, differences being that 1) zomg TWO ALICES because MORE IS OBVS BETTER RITE, and 2) the Afterlife attempt was retarded all around and I swear its slow-mo is like at half the speed of The Matrix's slow-mo. 'B|

JUST BECAUSE THE DIRECTOR'S NAME IS ANDERSON DOES NOT GIVE HIM THE RIGHT TO TRY AND BOOST HIS OWN CRAPPY MOVIE BY RIPPING OFF THIS ONE. >\

MOVING BEYOND THE FIGHT SCENES, though... lol moar mind-twisting plot! Kind of depressing, especially the way it was basically all "LOL YOU'RE ALL SCREWED AND HAVE PRETTY MUCH DONE NOTHING IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS--OMGTHEREISATRAITORINTHEROOM TO BE CONTINUED~" Even so, I was just as captivated during the whole thing as I was during the first, and I thought it did a good job of actually being a sequel -- it felt like it belonged in the Matrix universe. Many sequels make the mistake of feeling nothing like the previous installment, which is always a huge disappointment -- but Reloaded didn't disappoint, imo. ♥

And lol wat, sleazy French guy. I was enormously amused by him, but at the same time I just wanted Neo to punch him through a wall.

I also snickered a bit at the Neo/Trinity sex scene -- it wasn't done badly, but I couldn't help thinking WELP, THIS IS THE MATRIX

SO WE CAN'T JUST HAVE SEX

WE MUST HAVE

SLOW-MO SEX

X'D

But omg, Neo, hhhnnnggghhhh unf he works that long coat look so freakin' well, I am in love with it. Him. Whatever. Both. *_* jsadkfl;asdjf;lksdjfs.

I never really liked Trinity, I admit; she always felt like the obligatory BA chick who was really only in there to BE a chick and thus the protag's love interest, but she grew on me by the end of this movie. I was also amused by all the cameos of actors/actresses I happened to spot OH HEY LOOK MICHAEL FROM LOST -- AND ZOE FROM FIREFLY WHATCHU GUYS DOIN' HUR?

SO, overall, I loved it, especially the jump in fight-scene-to-non-fight-scene ratio. IF REVOLUTIONS (which is sitting on the shelf above my monitor as I type) HAS FIGHT SCENES EVEN HALF AS AWESOME AND PLENTIFUL AS RELOADED, I WILL BE VERY HAPPY. <33333

Secondly, THE AVENGERS~

I think I speak for everyone when I just say whoa.

Beyond that, I can only gush about my favorite scenes. SO--

The fight scenes! So awesomely done, nothing too over-the-top and it was just such, such, SUCH a pretty movie all around, but especially the fight scenes. :DDD My favorite of which might have to be the Thor+Hulk fight, just because it was SO BRUTAL AND AWESOME.

I loved how freakin' hilarious it was, too -- SO MANY WITTY ONE-LINERS, IDEK. <333 "Better buckle up, Legolas." sldkfklsdjfds X'DDD

"There's only one God, Ma'am, and I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like that."

"He is still of Asgard! And my brother!"
"He killed eighty people in two days. :|"
"..........He's adopted."

"Do you know who you're dealing with?!"
"Shakespeare in the park?"

I REALLY loved how all of the Avengers got their share of screentime, too -- no one overshadowed another or anything. I normally dislike Widow, but I liked her here; Clint was AWESOME (sdfjskldjfsd WHEN HE SHOT BEHIND HIMSELF WITHOUT LOOKING <333333), and I normally don't really care one way or the other for Hulk, but HE TOTALLY GAINED A LEVEL IN BA WITH HIS "That's my secret, Captain -- I'm always angry. B] /CHANGES" thing although he was just awesome in GENERAL so that was just lsdfsdfjafafsdf

AND OMG

THE HULK'S BEATDOWN OF LOKI

THAT WAS SO, SO, SOSOSOSOSO HORRIBLY VIOLENT AND AWFUL AND WONDERFUL AND THE WHOLE THEATER JUST ABOUT DIED LAUGHING

U HAVE BEEN DENIED UR MONOLOGUE, LOKI, GTFO

And fffffffff speaking of Loki, pssht. I still don't get why people love him so much; he had a few cool moves (when he first showed up, and when he caught Clint's arrow), but he is STILL SO WHINY AND CRAZY (and not even in a good way, imo) and isn't really that impressive himself. Loved when he tried and failed to brainwash Tony, though, ahahahaha X'DDD "...This usually works. :\"

BUT THOR -- omg I love him. <3333 All of them, of course, but I totes love Thor; and I snickered SO MUCH at Hulk sucker punching him. XDDDD

And OH, I just KNEW they'd have to introduce someone familiar at the very end, and all the while I expected some bad guy to show up at the head of the alien army, but I didn't stop to think much, so I had no idea what to expect -- BUT OMG KANG

IT ACTUALLY HAD KANG

MY MIND WAS PRETTY BLOWN FOR A SECOND THERE.

A classic Avengers villain -- definitely an awesome way to end.

Overall, I loved it so much and I know there's more awesome that I've forgotten to mention (LIKE OMG WHEN CAP AND TONY DID THE MOVE TOGETHER WHERE TONY SHOT HIS LASERS OFF OF CAP'S SHIELD SDJFLKSFS I LOVED THAT IN ULTIMATE ALLIANCE), but there was so much of it that it's KIND OF TO BE EXPECTED.

\o/

omg, /keyboard smashes, capslockcapslockcapslock, epiiiiiiiiiiiiic, marvel, action, fight scenes!!!!, do want, movies, movie review, avengers assemble!, idek, fangirling in a good way
