it was such an incredible moment. the moon so bold in the midnite sky. i just stared.

i thought about how my grampa used to call me squirt.
i thought about how i was so comfortable in the company of two of my very best friends.
i thought about the past and the present and the future.
i thought about how beautiful the world truly is.

and i wondered...will it ever be like this again?
and i concluded that though it will never be exaactly the same,

i will always see that same moon illuminating that same sky every night for the rest of my life.

and i just smiled.
