Today was a semi-good day. I had to get up really early to go to a gig, but, I got to miss my morning classes, so that was good.
But lately, since around mid-break, I've felt like some of my really close friends have been, like, not pushing me away, but, you know, not making an effort to be close. Like, not making plans to hang out or anything, and I don't know, that's kind of making me sad. But I do realize that that's partly my fault for not making any effort ither to make plans :/
Um, I'm getting better at the guitar; learning more skills like pick sweep and palm muting. :] I'm learning some cool songs to, like ETF and Dance Gavin Dance.
Speaking of Dance Gavin Dance, I'm going to their concert at the end of January. I'm excited about that. And there's a good chance I can meet them because they're the opening band which leaves lots of time to go and meet them :D
Urgh.
Right now I'm in an artistic slump. It's really annoying. I can't write anything decent, I haven't had any inspirations for drawing... And we're focusing on poetry in English, so that's bad.
I've been arguing with the parents lately coz I really want to see Fight Club, because I read the book and it was amazing, but they don't want me to see it. It's annoying.
And I really want gauges. Like, not really obnoxious, big ones, but small ones. What I want to know is, can you put them in yourself? Coz I could just go and buy them from Hot Topic and put them in without them knowing, but I'd have to like, be sneaky about it.
One more thing; my mom thinks my dad might have skin cancer. Coz like, he worked out in the sun a lot when he was younger, and he has this mole-thingy on his head, and it changed, but he won't go to the doctor to go get it checked out. I'm kinda worried, coz cancer's like this big thing in our family. Almost everyone in our family who's older has had cancer/doed from it. Especially my dad's dad. :/
I think this is the longest journal entry I've posted. Ithink it's beause of all the space I put in between the topics.
