The fantastic movement of life and love

...it never ceases to amaze me. Thank you, universe.

a children's poem

Just when I think I'm free of you

Love resurrects it's form,

relieving us of paper lies

we have together borne.

I feel you like a memory;

though loyally I'd try,

I could not act to free myself,

the way you hold my mind.

I feel your ghost in breast and hand

but space is never kind

and brother hour hates my cause

but brother fate is mine.

And if my heart is tied to you

and if you can't but sink

then let us fall together down

and from the ballast drink.

And if my mind is tied to you

and if you're feeling lost

then bring your wander to my side

and have us share the cost.

And if my body's tied to you

and if you feel amiss

then let me lay you down tonight

and heal you with my kiss.

And if my soul is tied to you

and you feel you can not be

then let me please have all of you

I promise, you will see.

Ode to Our Innocent Betrayal, Step Two of Our Impenetrable Union

I did not know, when this was said

That what I wanted most

Was not to hold your hand tonight

But see the room in toast;

To prove that triumph was my hand

And never would be his,

And all this time, in love with love,

I had not been remiss.

Forgive me for I did not know

I wanted just to want.

And forgive me once again for this

As I forgive your doubt.

One day perhaps this will be lost-

This feeling drawn so deep.

But letting ardor run amuck

No longer makes ends meet.

And though my heart is tied today,

And though I feel as death,

The truth ignored serves to remind

This is not my last breath.

And though my mind is tied today,

And though I feel mislead,

I feel I've been wise all along

But kept it in my head.

My body is not tied to you,

But following my heart,

It looked to become one with yours,

And conquer more to chart.

And yes, my soul is tied to you,

And patience is not slight.

But Universe is not our friend;

For now, it is goodnight.
