SPRING BREAK PICTURE POST!! :)
Ok ya'll...so I've finally got these pictures ready to post! Hope you enjoy!!
spring break was a blast, especially the last couple of days. Thanks to Loni for letting me tag along, and thanks to Phil for everything he did to make this a really awesome spring break for us!
Okay - on to the exciting stuff!
During the week we pretty much chilled out, Phil had to go to work every day on base - we went with him one day to find out just what he does while at work..
The truth was definitely revealed. ;) ;) But it was definitely entertaining.
Here are a few other pics from throughout the week.. (these next couple are Phil's pictures)
This is Phil's apartment (on the right). He has 2 roommates, 1 is gone to the Desert so I stayed in his room. The other ones name is Dan, and his girlfriend was visiting him all week. That made for some pretty hysterical moments. And sounds. lol
One day Phil left us his car, so Loni and I went and got manicures..this is just some pictures from that day.
We went to Sonic
Phil cooked for us a few nights - and it was always *SO* Good!! This night it was chicken
Okay - now these are from the weekend when we drove down to South Carolina and Myrtle Beach (about a 3 hour drive).
Let's get the couple of me out of the way
We got there just before sunset on Friday evening, so we hurried and did a photo shoot on the beach of Phil and Loni. I had a lot of fun doing it - they are so photogenic!! Here are some from that first time on the beach. (i have some in sepia/b&w cuz i like it)
Okay, now this is the 2nd day photo shoot on the beach:
First here's a couple of pictures of the beach
And the creepy group of seagulls who just stood there looking straight ahead at nothing lol
Okay - now on to Loni & Phil Part 2 :)
Ok end of those :)
Now between those 2 beach things, was friday night - st patty's day - which we spent on Myrtle at a bunch of the shops/restaurants/bar things (i dont know what the place is called exactly).
Phil took us to a restaurant/bar-type thing called Senor Frog - TOTALLY awesome! LOVED it! Here are some pictures from that :) (these are phil's pics)
Our huge alcoholic beverages! :) I'm so excited that we got to keep the glasses!! :)
At one point they told everyone to stand up on the chairs and dance to this crazy 'song' lol. I got up on the chairs, but when the dancing began I opted out to take pictures of them lol.
At one point this line of waitors came out as like the village People and carried around this big alcohol sprayer lol, and was spraying alcohol into everyones mouths, well when they got to our table they missed loni's mouth and it totally went all over her face and hair. They ran off lol. Not too funny at the time for poor loni - but I do get a laugh over it now ;)
Then, at one point, everyone in the restaurant started a conga line - and at there was someone at the end giving shots to everyone in line - so this is loni and phil in that line (i unfortunately couldnt get a picture of them getting their shots)
Anyways - that was an awesome place - they had karaoke too - and this one guy sang "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and I have had it stuck in my head ever since!!! So yah - A+++ for Senor Frog!
After we left there we stopped at a gift shop and just walked around places.
And Loni and Phil did an absolutely shocking and terrifying shrinking act...if only I could grow so easily...
Ok..well that's all the pictures from that.
On Saturday we headed back to north carolina cuz Phil had to work. (Well, actually after 4 hours of driving we found out he didn't have to work, and we could have spent the whole day on the beach - but it turned out fun anyways).
We spent the evening in Greensville (where he was supposed to have to work)...we went to a mall, then we went out to eat at Red Lobster...it was yummy and tons of fun :)
Then we all went to Ross...where I proceeded to blend into the clothes racks and hand out clothes that i thought people would like ;) Okay, so I only did it once...but it was still funny :)
Then, we drove back to his apartment...packed our stuff.. and went to sleep for like 2-3 hours. We had to leave in the morning :( So I got up at 2:30am (12:30am phoenix time)...and we left for the airport around 4am. Our flight left at 6 something. It was very sad to leave :(
So that was pretty much the end of our spring break.
After we landed in dallas, with barely time to switch planes, after a totally turbulent flight..we were on the last leg of the trip. Why was it storming everywhere we took off and landed this trip? Dallas like flooded on the day we were there, and we got to phoenix, and it was pouring! :/ Anywho.
I had to work like an hour after I got back to Phoenix, and by the time I got to work at 1pm I had been up for 13 hours, and flown thousands of miles already. The last thing I wanted to do was work! But I did. Then I went back to my house in Phoenix, and my parents drove me back to Tucson that night...Loni drove herself back around the same time (minor mix up in plans lol). So we all met up and went to dinner at like 10pm. (applebees happy hour).
By this time, I had been up 20 hours :) Loni and I were both very exhausted...though I think Loni showed it more ;)...maybe we shouldnt have given her that tequila...

lol. Okay - that's the end of this entry. My parents drove back to Phoenix that night, and our break was officially over...school was back the next day! :/
