i lived up to my promise to post clearer pictures of skandar. these are probably going to be the last you're going to see of him. regrettably so since i took them where the light was best- my kitchen. skandar is still unfit for public consumption, so please excuse the pots and pans.
i'm open to contructive crit guys. i'm thinking that since i enjoy doing faceups, perhaps when i grow up i can begin taking commissions, and that would help me afford this hobby. so if there's any advice, throw it out there.
i'm also interested in tips on keeping the parts clean. i've read that you should use gloves, but boy am i clumsy with any type of glove on. i kept a magic eraser on hand, and that buffing block thingy on hand, but still. i noticed that there was a texture to the pastels- kind of grainy, ater i applied them. is this due to too much MSC?
and teeth. i left those fuckers alone. but i'd like them white again :/
hello again skandar.
we'll start from top to bottom. head first, please
horns
i did go ahead with some body blushing in a few areas. i used my b/f as reference since he's a pale white kid and noticed that there wasn't going to be much to blush to begin with. lord knows i wasn't going to mimic adam's farmer's tan.
this is just an example of the hands. (you can see where one of his fingers broke)
the hooves. the job i did here has already been worn away a little. i'm thinking "sueding" that joint before the hooves with some kind of soft/non-abrasive cloth may remedy any further damage to hours of work...
