Voice - Hangin' around the Pub

This is the last time I ever ride a bus ever again.

...

Well. It certainly isn't the Prospect, but it'll do.

...

Wait.

[A pause; the kind one takes when he's made a really big discovery.] ... Blessed Satan, how in the world did I....? Well. Might as well make the most of it.

...

Um, are you new? I don't remember getting a file on-

[ANOTHER REASON TO HAVE THAT TALK WITH LUC]

Hallo, I'm Kurt and this is my little area...I think we should meet, ja? Things are a bit different here.

That would depend on your definition of "new".

....... are you blue?

I just think you need to be briefed on a few things, that's all.

And ja, from ear to ankle and everywhere else in between.

Huh. I'm sure the Blue Man Group would love you.

Anyway. Brief away, Blueberry.

[How to say this without sounding like an insane person]

This may not be your home world. This place is a Nexus, it's part of Hell, but still has contact with the mortal world and many other worlds.

I rule it. So, things might not work here as your home Hell.

Oh! The name's Kurt. My father told me I was the Lord of the Focus of this Hell, but...I like "Kurt" just fine.

[Actually, it doesn't sound all that crazy.]

.... I've heard of these places, you know. Though I never thought I'd ever find myself in one.

At least tell me the beer is good. Even better if there's wine.

Well, you'd be surprised how excited people get and start flinging salt and Latin about. None of that works in Vista del Fuego.

Ach! Of course, the beer is good. I was raised in Bavaria.

I can guarantee you, I wouldn't be. Though, you have to admit, they're rather amusing to watch when they realize that salt and Latin don't work.

Bavaria... I haven't been that way in ages.

The town for the living and the non-damned has a little quaint Bavarianess to it. The damned souls live over in the Vista Pines trailer park.

Stay away from the woods and what's beyond. My father's suggestion.

Ruby, my sister, is a powerful demon and I think she's the only one besides yourself presently.

So the living get to live the white-picket sort of life, and the damned get houses on wheels. And Bigfoot lives out in those hills. Gotcha.

... heh, is it that obvious?

Demon sensing goes with the whole son of the Morning Star thing.

Beyond the woods are the Barren lands, do you have that in your Hell? It holds despair and other non-fun things.

I'm sure it does. Hell is always much larger than you imagine it to be. I stick to the more exciting parts, when I have to be there.

I think this place will be very exciting. The Damned, the living, vampires, demons and angels all thrown in the same place?

earthlypleasure March 17 2010, 04:23:37 UTC
Well with large carnivorous things living out in the woods, of course it would be exciting, don't you think?
