SHOW SHOW SHOW SHOW
So after having a meeting with my advisor today and having her motivate me about getting my name out there since I'm going into Marketing and Promotions I came up with this great idea.
I've been doing work for MFA for about a year now and I read on their website they will send you a huge box of shit if you feel like putting together a show in their name. I figure this is an amazing cause, registering people to vote and getting more people informed, while at the same time being able to throw an amazing show.
I've been brainstorming with S. Leavell for awhile now and we've come up with an idea for a show in June possibily. It would take place in Headwaters Park (West Pavilion is only $325 for a day!) and have bands and artists from all different genres come to play a show together in support. We are looking for other brainstormers so if anyone else would be interested in jumping on the bandwagon (*cough aaron cough*) you are more than welcome. I e-mailed MFA for a box of shit to be sent ASAP so when we go to talk to the Parks and Recreation of Fort Wayne we will look offical and have a plan. Once I get a response we will be setting up a brainstorming meeting March 18th to figure out how we should go about this!
