i dont know why i was surprised that the simpsons is an environmental movie. the show has always had a strong environmental satire. maybe it was the enphesis...especially the gore joke...
but i have my doubts that humor will get people's attention. a joke about pollutenous goo just gets people to laugh and tell their own towns stories in the "can-you-believe-it?" attitude. i dont think it will get them to do anything about it.
i'm getting a really different "american" experience here in michigan than i've had growing up in the northeast. i want to go home, but its...interesting...
its time to start researching grad schools.
also, i WILL learn physics this summer. i've of course been saying this for the last 4 years, ever since i noticed that i forgot intro and dont understand electronics. i think my problem is that whenever i start to review, i start at the beginning of books, with the stuff i know....
