I simply love how human your Jing is, just like in the series, that blend of invincible thief king with a slight dusting of child and person. Ahhh, and your writing style is so smooth and easy to read. Also? Kir = made of awesome. X) And another kudos (that's 3, eh?) for the drinks references, because it would't be King of Bandits without them. >DDDD

*squee* Yes, underneath the persona of the Bandit King, Jing is still very much a child at heart, which ironically swaps Kir into the role of 'parent' more often than not.

You do update quite quickly, but it doesn't seem to hinder the quality of these ficlets at all. I really do love how you manage to write not only Jing but Kir as well, keeping them both quite in character. I'm also glad you added some depth to Jing's emotions, which, for the most part, people seem to forget while writing for him. As you said in the comment above, he's only a child. He may be a very intelligent kid but he's still a kid none the less ( ... )

"Kir," Jing smiled wearily. "You made these ones."

The albatross stared, not comprehending. "I didn't... I wouldn't --"

"It's okay, partner," the Bandit King interrupted.

You never fail to please, itoko! I love how you were able to express the care Jing had for Kir so well, even in the details. Those two are an awesome duo and you're excellent at portraying them both in character and exploritavely. At The Same Time. Hooomygosh!

Can't wait to see what you've got next! Weee!
