Okay... that was weird. I just had one heck of an active dream. *yawns*
It started off with me together with a classmate named Dee. We had somehow gotten into an army together, and we're getting onto our first mission. We were sent off to Afghanistan or Iraq, but it was a severely warring place.
We are in our dressing rooms, getting ready. We've been commanded to gather (and it's in the morning). Dee was being slow, and was getting left behind. I waited for him to finish putting on her boots (it seemed to take forever to tie her shoelaces) then we rushed out to the gathering place of the troops. However, we lost sight of them, and we had to race all over the building trying to find them.
I moved to the top floor because I knew we were supposed to "takeoff" somewhere. Top floor turned out to be a special residence area, which left me leaping over dinner tables and messy rooms trying to find if there was a way out. Dee was following behind me the whole time. Finally, after that misadventure, I wandered out of the residence area and found where there were several helicopters (they looked like Black Hawks) getting filled by people.
I jumped onto the first, it wasn't ours, and got off. This nearly caused the helicopter to get into an accident. It's tail swerved, it got trapped in a large shed-like area on the roof, and it took a lot of fishtailing and spinning to get out. When it did, it pointed us to where our group was gathered, so I went with Dee to find them.
We boarded the right helicopter this time, along with about a quarter of our group, and we get briefed on the mission as we flew. We're supposed to go on a rescue mission of some sort, the details were vague, but the problem is none of us has been trained. In fact, we're supposed to be peace troops. Also, we're supposed to carry one bomb and one gun with us, in case we're discovered, but the gun is to be used for suicide by shooting ourselves under the chin.
As we flew, the landscape showed barren rugged land where nothing was safe. People were getting killed in the open, gunfire everywhere, though at random intervals there are little children playing. Then we got off the helicopter and walked through a deserted housing area of some sort. Really creepy... Each unit was completely dark and empty, as if no one had ever lived there (just 4 bare walls).
Walking past these, we were nearly ambushed by some creatures, and then WE flew. We just lifted up and flew. However, insects attacked my hands and I had to sweep them away. Before I knew it, my hand was swelling in different areas in all sorts of color. There was even fuzzy mold growing out of some bites.
We flew for a while longer, then landed at our second base where we'll be given the things for this mission and briefly taught how to use a gun. The leader went and got me the medic, which seemed to be this mystic type woman who took me through various taichi like excercises to help my hand. While I did them, I was just hoping that my hand will disable me from the mission (coward T_T). She gave me some ointment and commented I attracted a lot of insects (at least 7 different type of bites), and I just agreed that usually insects bite me rather than other people.
After, I remember walking through a hall and seeing various mafia-like picture of our bosses.... and then my alarm clock woke me up.
And now that I wrote everything down, lunch and the library booksale awaits!
