It's rained for days. I am so sick of it. And it's cold. And it's going to stay cold, which is shocking for here. Usually it gets cold for a few days, and then we have a couple sunny days, etc. But nope, it's going to stay cold.

Since my niece is staying with us, and she insists on sleeping in my bedroom, and we're redoing it, we figured we'd buy my new bed, set it up, and then she can stay in my old one.  I helped out at this 4H cooking class today, for a couple of hours. I checked everyone in, and then talked about 4H, and helped out with anything else anybody needed. I had to get up super early, but it was kind of nice. There were a lot of kids there, especially for our county, and that was really nice to see, since we usually get horrible ( Read more... )

Yesterday my Mom, Rendi, Pam and I went to the state horse show again, to watch Hannah and Andreya ride in trail and western pleasure. Rendi and I didn't qualify in any riding events, and she wouldn't have been able to ride anyway, with her broken leg.  My computer is dying or crashing or something. I don't know. I've only had it a year, I got it last May. It's worked great up until last week. The fan is dying or something, and it sounds horrible all the time, making this roaring noise that drives completely insane. Today was the last playday for the spring series.

It went really well! In the actual show, for this week, I won in Showmanship and trail.
For the overall series I got grand champion in Showmanship, and in trail.
I got reserve grand champion in pole bending, barrel racing and the flag race.
And I got Sr. reserve champion overall high points.
