I'm So Tired.

-We took Rilee to the zoo on Monday. She had a blast, even though it was really hot and we didn't stay for too long. She loved the giraffees, the train ride, and she even went on the camel ride. We got super lost in Tulsa though-both coming and going. We did make it back home eventually though! XD And I got a ton of amazing pictures.

When we got home from the zoo I went to turn on my laptop to check my email and facebook before dinner, and it wouldn't start up. Kept going to the 'start up repair' which it does on occasion, and then it's fine. Only this time it wasn't fine. It said that it couldn't fix it. So I tried a couple times, tried some other stuff, nothing worked. My Dad put in the rebooting CD's, and nothing. It's completely dead. It's really weird though, because my brother, who also owns a dell, though his is about six months newer than mine [and thus still under the warranty, mine wasn't by about a month and a half. Of course.] died this week too. The same whole start up repair problem. He did get his rebooted though, but his wi fi card and everything worked. [Dell's sending him a new harddrive] and it's just really freaky that both of ours would break like that.

Anyway, we decided it wasn't worth trying to get fixed. Even if they got it started, it's had so many other problems lately too. The power cord broke a few months ago, and I was using a crappy adapter that wouldn't charge it [I used my Mom's charger, but it would only charge about 50% of the time even with that] and the fan was going and causing it to overheat on an almost daily basis. Flashplayer stopped work on IE, amongst just a lot of other issues. I was going to get a new laptop for gradution next summer, but my parents got me a new laptop today instead. I got an HP pavillion. It's completley cute, with swirly things on the keyboard and the cover, and it's sleek and pretty. It's super fast, it's got external music controls [and a remote!] and is made for lot's of music and pictures. So far it's pretty perfect!

Otherwise today was 4H/FFA OSU Field Days. I had to get up at five [and I have too for two more days too. Ugh.] and I went with a bunch of the same people as last year, Baylee, Becky and Chase. Anthony is coming tomorrow, I think, since he had to work today. Rendi was going to come too, but her cast is off and she went to cheer camp instead. Anyway, we lived up the normal traditon of annoying each other and Travis and Mr. Hessler that drive us there. XD We saw Brady there-he moved to a diff county a few days-and it was pretty cool seeing him again. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow-just not getting up for it. And speaking of which - that's where I'm headed now - bed.

On a quick note though, I got Daughtry's new CD. It's amazing, of course!
And Switchfoot's new album Hello Hurricane is coming out tenatively on October Sixth, and preorder will start at the beginning of August. I'm defintely ordering the deluxe verison as soon as they put it up. You get the first single, Mess Of Me, as soon as you order. I can't wait.

music, switchfoot, osu, bed, laptops, 4h, dead, daughtry, cds, too early!
