Heeeeeeeeey, funny story.. you know how Luke is kind of an ass? Well, he is. He told me that the rest of the staff complains about me, I'm the cause of most of his problems, I'm among the worst employees, other things of that nature so I quit working for him. Here are a few specific problems he had with me:
-I attract customers by not charging them for jalapenos
-I'm always off on the till count (which is confusing and true, but the register won't let you recount after it tells you that you're off so there's no way you can go back and see what you did wrong)
-It takes me 20-30 minutes to do the same number of dishes that most people can do in 7 (which is bullshit, I happen to rotate the toppings every shift like we're 'sposed to and it results in twice as many dishes that I would prefer to clean *thoroughly* unlike the people who can do all the dishes in 5 minutes)
-It takes me minutes to make a sandwich (this one is not true, I time myself periodically and it takes me between 3 and 4 minutes to make a sandwich, and about 4 minutes to make a meal--someone really fast can take 2-3 minutes to make a sandwich. I take between 30 and 50 seconds longer than average--not 3 entire fucking minutes, you LYING JACKASS)
-I missed the mandatory meeting without a proper excuse. Also, I should have told him in advance that Drew would be called into work while I was sleeping (I do work nights.. I need my sleep, man)and that I wouldn't have enough units on my prepaid phone to get a hold of anyone to give me a ride. Also, texting Luke my situation and asking for a ride (which would NOT have been that inconvenient especially if the meeting was THIS important to him) was not sufficient. I should have tried harder or something.
-I should have called a cab to get to this meeting since I couldn't find a ride (what part of NO PHONE can't he understand?!)
-This one time we ran out of A1 sauce at 8:40p (Great Steak closes at 9p) so I pulled the sign that says we have steak sauce down. This was apparently a HUGE IMPORTANT mistake especially because the other person I was working with was brand new and he thought I said we weren't serving it anymore.. which was an easy assumption to make because the sign said "Back for a *limited time* only"
I just lost the rest of the entry and now I'm angry because my keyboard hasn't been easy to use since apple juice got spilled on it by that waiter at Perkins.
Basically Luke lost the store to the old owner, all the current employees quit and the old owner hired back all the old employees. You know they're talking about us and how much we sucked and how they know it wouldn't work out for Luke, even though his failure was ENTIRELY the fault of the old owner. I take back what I said about Megan, she's a miserable bitch and Shane obviously is worse and they can gloat all they want but they're the ones who fail at life. Isaac, me *and* Luke are more educated, more successful, more attractive and more intelligent than either of them so BLOW ME MEGAN. Have fun with your miserable, hateful life.
