Band Camp
Well as it happened we all decided to go back out to Ohio and band camp. And yes Tearsa and David mad people mad but you just wouldn't understand. You wouldn't understand how if felt to see all the people you care about crying because they were just told that you were not coming back. To see the look on their faces, to see the tears coming from their eyes, and to listen to the pleaing and begging of you to stay. I was the first to give in because im a sucker for emotions. And know im very glad that i gave in. Because im having a blast and so is Tearsa and David. We had the bon-fire thursday night and afterwards Krista was like "Megan are you coming back next year?" And I said I dont know. Well she was like "If you don't come back I'm not coming back" I was like wow. So I definetly see JMB in my future still even though I said I was not going back next year. Thursday we also did the midnight show. Well it was more like 1:30 because bed check is not until midnight now because they moved everything back one hour. I love the midnight show.
Friday we had an officers "picnic" that was fun. It was at cabin 11. We also had a concert in the morning. It went good. And the best part about friday was our FIRST RUN THRU!!!! YAY. I was so happy to have our first run through of the year. Yes, it was shaky but the fact is that we did it and Brizzi didnt think that we would be able to do it by the end of camp. But we did and that is totally awesome. Friday night we also had like 4 hours of free time because the schedule was so messed up. So we were donw with reheresal at 7:00 and had the rest of the night to ourselves. The staff went out so you know it was crazy. I mostly stayed in the cabin and talked with Bethany and Jen Marlowe. But here are some things from friday night that were funny.
-the cat in the kitchen
-liz's van
-Joey and the phone
-me and the chocolate pudding
-cabin 11
-picnic
-you fail (cabin 3)
-the girls bathroom
-cabin 6 sleep over
And there are some other things that can't be mentioned here.
So today was the last day of camp. We had practice this morning and then cleaned up. I got it easy. I had to supervise the clarinets and saxes and help clean the girls bathrooms. The hard part was cleaing up the mess we made in cabin 6. Who would think that in just 2 weeks it becomes so messy? That took forever. So finally everything was cleaned up and all the stuff packed. So we had to wait for Annie to come get us. She didnt get there till 5:30 because there was some confusion. So we were the very last people at camp. It was kinda cool.
So now here I am hanging out around the house with nothing to do. I just got done having a conversation with my mom about different things. And let me tell you some of them were pretty random. We have a concert tomorrow afternoon and then the rest of the break is ours. We leave Tuesday night at 9. And then i'm going to be away until July 11th. So talk to me when you can. And if you want a postcard or something from Chicago leave a comment with your address and everything i need.
