Ok well as for the name, woot woot is an obvious translation from gamer speak, originally deriving from some sort of celebration, for example "wow loot" got shortened to woot. His full name is "Ephubbondalath-notlotha Sogo-olekrany the 12th" a family traditional name. Which is based upon me hitting a random fantasy name character generator about 15 times and combining all the names.
Originally this was bucks star, however the character idea lost it's luster after i made him. So i waited another year and a half before debuting another character. I wanted to do something with grun, due to a distinct lack of anyone following the grun plot. Woot woot was originally gonna be a sling fighter, but after a conversation with tom and larry i decided a priest would be more suited to what would esentially be a cultist. I threw in some scholar so this ridiculous looking khesta would run around telling everyone he's a scholar. Essentially, he's as unpowergaming as i can get in a character, which is tough for me :)
Woot woot's grandfather is a crazy alchemist and his grandmother is a bit loopy in that funny old person racism sort of way, always telling him tidbits of wisdom that are mostly useless and entirely outlandish.
Woot woot will eventually suceed in his quest of course, and most likely tear the wheel of the gods asunder and throw off the balance. But he doesnt care, cause everyone told him he couldn't do it!!! so Naaaaa
