Stuff and more stuff
JUst passed my Security + exam... Which is a good thing.. that pretty much finishes my general certifications. Now it's time to pick a path, either windows or Cisco. I'm pretty torn right now, the windows stuff is good forgeneral work but the cisco work might be better in terms of a long term job. I'll figure it out and start studying for one microsoft thing tomorrow, at least so i can put MCP next to my name.
Everything with Adeline is going great, She's turning out to be pretty much everything i ever looked for. I mean really, always sweet and amicable, smart and with a mind similar to mind on almost all things. She continues to look for a job that involves more regular hours rather than stupid retail.
Lione weekend was the typical Lione scripting weekend. A descent amount of scripts... seemingly less as the weekend went on. But fun all the same. It's Fun to play Entropis, even when he's not batshit insane. It really enhances the experience to have characters to play regularly, that the directors trust you with. On the other end of the spectrum it's fun to play a dark elf high mage carrying like 50 Korba and Just knowing that you Don't even have to cast a spell for everyone to know how badass you are.
I think the weekend itself left alot of room for either side to seize the day. The main problem i saw the rebel forces having was numbers. I felt bad that i couldnt play alongside them, but my playing of silbardale is much more important to me in every way. I would hate to be buying script points to play a setting already short on scripts. I Felt bad for the new players with the uber onslaught of stuff that they just couldnt effect. As void creatuers i ignored them figuring they'd already been voided. And when were rats were sewer jacking people i was trying my best to obliterate them with elementalism before they could mess with the new players too badly. Then offering protectives afterward. It's always tough to tell how the event was from a player perspective. Not sure if we got that bonus XP, although if anyone was paying attention i doubt it. There was an assload of people just wandering around with and without white headbands on etc.
For the next event I'm hoping we can get something major accomplished for the forces of good, and once again i have a feeling it'll be a culmination for the beginings of my Grun campaign. We'll see.
