Highlights of the past week
Monday: Tennis. It was the best I've played in a while, and I had some amazing rallies with Ronen.
Tuesday: Volleyball. During one play, I made a last-ditch attempt to kick the ball as the third hit, and the ball went over the net and landed on the other side. It was pretty amazing. Then, I got hit in the head by another player's elbow after he had jumped for the ball, and I ended up in the ER.
Wednesday: Watched Transamerica. It was very funny and much better than I had expected.
Thursday: Couldn't play basketball due to Tuesday's incident despite heavy recruiting efforts. Ten people showed up this week, so at least the recruiting was successful. I felt like going to a concert, so I went to the Eastman Chamber Percussion performance, which was very different from pretty much anything I've ever seen.
Friday: Celebrated Andries's new job with a bunch of other people at the Old Toad.
Today: Trying to get some work done, Mardi Gras party later.
