Oh my goodness...
Black Lily, Persephone, Rakshasa, Venice and White Rabbit from BPAL are all AMAZING!!
I love lilies, and Black Lily is exactly what it sounds like, a dark, shadowy lily! I want to try Tiger Lily (from their Alice collection... I love that collection so far!!) because I know it will be lighter and brighter lily, like the ones my mom always has at the house.
Persephone is boils down to a tart and juicy pomegranate and crisp sweet rose. And it is love. I can't wait for Josh to smell it! I love the myth of Persephone and wanted it based on the name and then read the description and knew it would be love. I posted in sinandsalvation asking if anyone had any partial bottles or imps to sell me and the amazing and wonderful lunakitten mailed me one for FREE and included two other imps, including another new favorite...
...Rakshasa! Which I sense as a gorgeous, perfect rose with sandalwood and patchouli, rather than sandalwood with rose and patchouli. In any case, it's a gorgeous floral that has the most amazing throw I've experienced so far. I got home from work and was still in heaven.
Venice is just gorgeous... berries and amber... mmmm....
And White Rabbit is delicious tea and milk and honey and ginger and delicious. LOVE! It's such a clean scent and really makes me want a cup of tea... How do they do it?!?
Basically, I'm in love with it. It's amazing the work they do at the lab, I can't believe how well these scents evoke just what they intend. LOVE!
So far I'm amazed with the BPAL community. I'm really used to the MAC communities where most people are nice, but a lot of them are not, there's a lot of drama, a lot of theft and swaplifting and here I have seen none of that, only a ton of generosity. YAY!
