Wisdom Teeth
I had my wisdom teeth out this morning. It wasn't too bad at all. My surgery was at 8 and I felt fine until around noon, took more pain medication, which works really well. I've had ice on my jaw and eating jello and yogurt. I felt really sick for like 5 minutes earlier but then it passed, and that's the worst it's been so far. I have been pretty awake, the anesthesia wore off pretty quickly I think, and more recently I've gotten full feeling back in my lower lip and chin. I'm having a little trouble typing but only a tiny amount. I'm listening to the new Wilco album, which I finally got yesterday from the library. It's good so far. I watched a documentary on the Carter Family this afternoon, that I checked out from the library. I think I may go to sleep again soon, I took one a little after I took my first pill earlier and I just took my second one recently. Yesterday I ordered Madden 08 for Wii, it should be here in a few days. My roommate Matt stayed here yesterday, he left this morning. Last night he was showing me a bunch of secret stuff on Super Mario World that I had never seen, it blew my mind. I am just clueless and terrible when it comes to that game, and it's not even that hard. It just shows my ineptitude when it comes to video games. I'm going back to Vandy next weekend, a little over a week from now. It seems like this summer never happened, it's really weird. Not being at home for most of the summer is really weird, I don't know if you, dear reader, have done it before, but this was my first time and it's weird. I am glad for another week to relax at home, but then I'll be ready to go back. Luke, I assume you've already gone back to Tuscaloosa, sorry I didn't get to see you. Going to Auburn was good, it was nice to see Laura since I hadn't seen her since the beginning of June and I won't see her as much as the rest of the family from now on. It was also nice just to go to Auburn because it's been a long time, I didn't remember much about it. I really want to go to the Auburn-Vandy game, my only dilemma is that the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) is that weekend, and some of my friends will probably be going and I would like to go with them, but the trip to Auburn is winning right now in my mind, we'll see what happens.
