preparations for AC - or - how I will lose my mind in 2 months or less
Busying myself for AC. I really want to get this stuff completed quickly as I can but I find myself feeling like, even though it's nearly two months away I won't have everything done. I am always so distracted by online stuff... and stuff. Argh. So many surveys on mturk! [although, really, that's only a fraction of my distraction.]
I need to:
finish the series of bookmarks, I have twelve to go, at least ;_;
design and order my business cards
make the sign for my table, which I have NO IDEA how to do but hopefully I can pull off what I imagine.
finish various pieces for the art show, including some paintings for both the clean and the naughty sections.
boxes I am painting for the 3D section/tables of the art show
wall clock for the art show [I am popping out the back of one we got for free with an order a while back, going to trace the paper inside it and then use that as a base to paint something as yet to be determined.]
prints for the table, at least some of these will be stuff from the art show, I think. Maybe. If not, then... all new pieces for the table!
"return" sign for my table, for when I am afk. I am thinking I may just make myself something that I can write on - I have some transparency paper, so I could make something to go in the background, attach the transparency and write/wipe off the transparency as needed. If all goes well with my table sign, I will just put it around the sign's "neck". I also am going to try, at least, to incorporate a holder for my business cards in my sign.
probably something to hang on the front of the table, signage wise
Not art, but related:
I also need to possibly make something to display the bookmarks. I am imagining making something upright, that turns. Like, a base with a block of wood with something on it I can hang the bookmarks from. Unless I can find something that performs the same function, and buy it, I guess. But ideally, it will be tall before wide - though not insanely tall, preferably less than two feet tall total. I am totally fine with building, it provided I can figure out exactly how to design it.

sketch book, with velcro attachments so I can put the ref sheet in there
