Yesterday was fun! It was certainly a late start, but it turned into a great day. I ended up going to the GLCL to visit everyone and I ended up staying for over an hour. It was so great to see everyone and hear how they are doing.
A good group of people ended up going to Joe Kool's after work for drinks and food, so I joined in and tagged along with Lynne and Tiffany. Ken ended up showing up after his shift as well. So it was a vey nice time. Ken even bought mine and Lynne's dinner and drinks, which was very sweet of him. The night, of course, featured the photo of me and Tiffany above.
It's just been so nice to be home with my family and friends so far. I can't wait for tomorrow and the day after for the true holiday to be here. Pete gets in tonight from DeKalb with Macy, so I know by then it'll be even better!
Today's plans include going to Coney Island for lunch with Mom, stopping by Gram's to visit and check on Lovie (which I'm sure he's fine, but I still miss my fuzzbucket), then I'm dying to see The Princess and the Frog again, so I may catch a matinee by myself and just chill in the theatre. Mom said she was hoping to see Up in the Air tonight, so this may be a double feature day for me. After all that, I'm going to head over to Deb's to see Pete and the dog. Hopefully I won't be too late.
It will, however, be a great day! Happy holidays!
