The time change is wrecking havoc with my sleeping schedule. It's nearly 11 and I'm not tired, but 5 am will totally suck if I don't fall asleep soon. No, that's not entirely accurate--5 am will suck no matter what, but not getting out of the house on time will be even worse, which is what will happen if I keep hitting the snooze button while only half conscious.
Anyway, my chemise class was very fun and fabulous, at least that's what I think. It was nearly a bust, though, as I didn't have the right connector to hook up my computer to the projector. Yikes!
demode_kvc's DH saved the day, running his own adapter over to us during lunch.
Costume Academy in general was great and seemed to go off hitch free. I loved the beaded fringe class I took. I started a pair of earrings and had them finished by evening.
I also came home and started working on a modern dress. I couldn't help myself. I know I've got a ton of sewing to do before CC26, but my mundane wardrobe is looking just that--mundane--and needs some sprucing up for spring. I got it half cut out yesterday, then finished cutting out this evening and started on the bodice.
Tomorrow I'll be doing a bit of handsewing: the facing on the dress needs to be stitched down, and then I want to work on the Cranach sleeves.
